Lately, I have been so uninspired and de-motivated. I have no motivation to work out and when I do work out I just lolly-gag through it and really don’t accomplish much. Not only has this been the case in my health but in everything in my life. I couldn’t really figure out why at first. I thought maybe I was so hyped up on life, exercising, eating healthy, etc. for a while that maybe I was just burnt out. That maybe the reason people go through ups and downs of being motivated is because of things going on around them and what not. But then I thought about the people who keep going, everyday and stay motivated and stick to it all. I thought of myself at my highest. and I realized it’s not about anything on the outside; it’s not about life not going your way or it being rainy or sunny. It’s about the inside. It’s about what is at the center of everything you do, the heart of who you are. I like to call this your why. You have what you do, how you do it, and WHY you do it. In this case I’m talking about the why behind your life. The core of all your inspiration. What/who lives there? I figured out that I had forgotten and gotten very far away from my core. Once you lose your core stability, you lose all control, moving around without reason or rhyme. Your core holds your strength, and without knowing your core, you have very little strength. Pulling through day to day on what little back up fuel you have. You lose yourself, your interests become not so interesting, your loves become likes, you become, to yourself, just another lifeless person strolling through. The good thing is you can always get back, you can always find it again. Seek, search, find. But seek with all your heart, search with true intentions, love and believe in what you find.

Meraki: (greek) Doing something with soul, creativity, or love.
I’d like to share a little about myself. I chose this picture because hidden inside and behind it are things that explain me rather well.
1. This is my best friend. I think if you want to know what kind of a person someone really is you should look at their friends and ask them. 2. I did her hair in this (cut color style the whole shebang) doing hair is my job and not only that my passion. 3. I took these pictures and edited them, two things I enjoy very much.
You may think yeah yeah cool, you like your best friend, doing hair, and pictures…cool. Now take a look at the word I put at the beginning of this…Meraki. It’s greek and doesn’t exist in the english language. There is the reason these things tell a lot about me. I do them all with soul, creativity, and love. They inspire me at my core and bring out my best side.
You, gfod, fitness, my health, your health, my self-image, your self-image, is also something that matters a lot to me and inspires me to reach for more and help others to reach, too. I meraki you. Get it :]
